The creepy music corresponds well with my shock of finding that I can't tell a CGI from an actor anymore. I was so proud to be able to tell that the dwarf in the Hobbit was a CGI, but then it turned out they messed with proportions. If you stay true to the reference, there is no telling :O

I don't get it. Why did they replace one actor with CGI and use another actor's face? Why not just use that actor?

If you think about it, what a game like The Witcher 3 can render in real time. This is exactly what you'd expect from a studio that can take days for each frame. Also, it's only going to get better. One day, the entire movie will be CGI, undetectable that it is, and every actor will be doing voice work. Actual sets begone, and thus zero stuntwork.
