As much as this hurt to watch... I'm with Belle on this one. She's spent years trying to help him be a better person, and that takes a lot out of you, living entirely for someone else. She needs to have a chance to figure out who she is as a person without Rumple (or Will or insert romantic interest here). She finally started doing that back in the Enchanted forest before she got captured by Regina - but then, she hasn't really done that since Storybrooke. She went straight to Rumple love interest. She's never been without a boyfriend/husband - and she's finally realizing that she needs to figure out who she is as a person, other than Rumple's true love. It hurts, but I think it'll make them stronger in the long run - because Rumple needs this too. He needs to figure out who he is other than the Dark One/Bae's Dad/Belle's true love. Who is he when you take that all away? Cause he's always been so focused on those roles that who he is as a person lost out.

Look Belle has a point, Rumple broke her heart so many times it's gonna be a while before she can fully trust him again. And this time he has to really work for it, one act of bravery to protect her isn't enough to convince her. Because the last time he said that he's changed, or promised something good to her Rumple lied and deceived her. Like I said, this relationship is going to take time to heal and fix up (that's if it can ever be.) I'm not trying to downplay them or make the Rumbelle shippers feel bad, I'm just saying Belle needs time to figure things out on her own. So I think she's making  the right choice for herself.

Belle finally listened to her heart doing the right thing leaving The Beast as she can finally move on to get her real happy ending :) *releaved for her while smiling*

i think that belle makes a good point of not going straight back to rumple, but i feel that the way they write her is so inconsistent. shes constantly saying the opposite of what she said previously. "ill never leave you" "im leaving you" "i believe you, " "i dont believe you." ugh.

welp. I thought I couldn't be more heartbroken with these two and here they are, proving me wrong. I mean, damn their faces! His heart was breaking in this but so was hers. And I'm glad she's in this place, she does need to find herself away from him again. she used to know, but since she was locked up she got lost I think. She needs this chance to be that strong. confident and sure woman he met and fell in love with the first time. And he needs to find himself too, as someone other than the coward or the Dark One; he can't use her as a crutch (he did it with Bae, then magic so it could happen). They just both need a chance to grow up for themselves first, then they can get back together once they're in the right place and not living with their remembered ideas of each other.

or Dark Hook made Belle do this as a way to get back at him. plausible. either way, they still need the time.
