Harvey Weinstein’s Trial Is One Step Closer to Ending

The defense rested its case in the trial of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein did not take the stand to defend himself. The jury of seven men and five women will now have to deliberate without the benefit of hearing from the producer. As Weinstein left the courtroom today, he told reporters that he thinks his attorneys did an “amazing” job. Weinstein has been charged with five counts, two of rape, one of forcible sex and two of predatory sexual assault. He has pleaded not guilty. #InsideEdition

Innocent until proven guilty. If enough witnesses can’t prove that he’s guilty, then he remains innocent. That just means all these women consented and agreed to do things with him. They’re all adults and they made a choice on their own. I think it’s just a bunch of women trying to cry as loud as they can to get something out of it for making a foolish mistake.
