Feeling down right now? Sometimes it feels like the world is telling us we should be always happy, and that crying, especially in front of our kids, is a sign of weakness. These mums are here to tell you that it's ok to not be ok. We all have good and bad days. Sometimes we can feel lonely even when we're surrounded by people, and sometimes we just want everyone to leave us alone! It's nothing to feel guilty about.

Let's all agree to stop painting smiles on our faces and just admit that sometimes we have crappy days. And don't forget, when you're having one of those days, Channel Mum is here for you.

I feel so honoured to be part of this video and reading through the comments it's clear we all struggle through many of these emotions alone. Let's keep talking...a problem shared is a problem halved x

I became a storyteller, after I became a mum. I mostly do shows for pre-schoolers and mine are now teens. However, pre-Covid, I saw mom's with little ones all the time. My experience over the years is that this is indeed the hardest job ever. And you are not alone. Whatever you are going through, other mums are going through it too.

This got me from the start. It's how we're all feeling at the moment isn't it. I cry pretty much every day too. At home and alone with a 5 month old and a 2 year old - it's just all too much sometimes. It definitely helps knowing I'm not alone and I know it's ok to be struggling and feel down. I really think this is probably going to be one of the hardest things we ever have to live through as parents. Sending hugs to all that need them ❤️

Don't think I've ever cried as much as I have over the past several weeks. We all struggle and it's OK to admit that. Sending love to anyone who needs it today ❤

Without a doubt I love my children more than any other humans on the planet. But I've hated almost every day of being a stay at home mom. It's like being in prison. I just try to stay present and take it day by day. Some days I'm surprised at how my kids can be so joyful despite me falling apart in front of them. Thank god they're so resilient.

God I feel like crying watching this video. Really struggling at the moment and feel so guilty about wanting to be alone for a little bit.

As a new mom I feel sad all the time, I cry all the time inside, but I smile for everyone.

Thank you so much for this video. I cry from time to time because I know my son won't have the same life I did. I never expected him to, but with the pandemic and lockdown, I don't even know if there will be Halloweens moving forward because we can't touch candy from strangers, even if they are our neighbours. How will play dates look now? How will birthday parties be? Will I have left over neuroses from having to wash my hands any time I touch something now? I didn't think his life would change before it even really got started...bums me out.

So refreshing and honest to see something like this... Portraying what it’s really like to try and balance being a mum with all of the other roles we have in our lives. I can resonate entirely with every sentiment shared.. thank u... xx

Its overwhelming for me been on my own with the kids and having MS, I did a little video about it on my channel. normally they'd be at school/nursery and me at work, then we come together, Theres no middle man now, kids get up early, so I'm in mum mode straight away, I think I've had emotional exhaustion, but I'm having a me day, no home schooling and plenty of treats!! fab video
