Actually what makes the song even more insane is that not only is it about these monsters dancing to the Monster Mash song, but we never hear the Monster Mash song, they also do the Monster Mash dance, and the dance is never described. So the whole song is about a bunch of monsters doing a dance we'll never see to a song we'll never hear.

The monster mash is when you swing your arms in step with your legs, left arm sways forward with the left step, and right arm swings with the right step. Its awkward, and goofy, but getting 14 or so guys to all do it in step with eachother is glorious and hilarious.
