Don't be ashamed to cross yourselves with your right hand and three joined fingers in front of the Church when you pass, in front of a shrine, in front of an icon you come across in your friend's house, before a meal to thank the Lord, before work, after work, when you go somewhere and when you arrive, when you pray in church or at home. Nowhere and never be ashamed to cross yourself with your right hand in the glory of God, because as you acknowledge Him in front of men, so He will acknowledge you in Heavens because you were not ashamed of him.!

Thank you!
Before becoming a convert, I always wanted to cross myself, but never knew how.
We go right to left toward our heart which belongs to the Triune God.
Glory to Jesus Christ!

Maybe speak to when the sign is made during Orthodox services. It was something I had to learn when I was new and I’m sure others wonder.

Belly -- not chest
Also you need to emphasize that it is "right to left" for Orthodox as in "forehead => belly => right shoulder => left shoulder"
Catholics go "left to right"

I am an Orthodox Christian and I was born using this form of doing the cross sign. I still adore my religion very much.☦️☦️☦️

As a Catholic, I always did forehead left shoulder then right shoulder

Wrong. You don’t go down to your chest but rather where your belly is.

From left to right

Forehead : you can't see the father
Chest : the son which was seen on earth

Left to write : Jesus took us from hell to the kingdom of heaven

Two comments: 1) You go to belly not chest; and 2) two fingers not only represent two nature's of Christ, but His coming from Heaven to earth.

Thank you, brother. I live in an area where there is no Orthodox church. And I have been raised a Protestant. I have been becoming increasingly intrigued in orthodoxy, and I wouldn't like to learn more, but unfortunately, there is no Orthodox church near where I live in North Queensland, Australia. (A small town called Mareeba) Would you be able to help me buy any chance? Is there an orthodox church in FNQ?

The sign touches the solar plexus which is halfway between the center of your chest and your belly button.
