Having seen the original, every time those trailers came on, I would get even more mad at Blumhouse for showing WAY too much! 😑 If you haven’t seen the trailers, then you’ll probably be way more surprised at this movie. But Blumhouse REALLY needs to stop with the trailers showing everything. 🤦‍♀️

How does James McAvoy not have an Oscar yet? He always gives his all in his performances. I think he should’ve got recognition for Split and not even a nomination. He’s the only thing intriguing about this movie, but the trailers didn’t really sell it for me and I had no idea it’s a remake.

McAvoy has been kicking ass for over a decade. One of the best actors of his generation. I saw the original, it is gross and had an absolute fu$ked up ending. I really hope they changed the ending

I just saw this tonight and my goodness it was STRESSFUL. And that’s a good thing.

I haven’t seen the original film so I have nothing to compare. I’m not sure I want to see the original though lol

But I laughed and squirmed the whole time and James McAvoy is SOOO good. Give this guy an Oscar please.

tldr. the movie was amazing.
I saw James McAvoy was an actor in it and I was immediately like I have to go see it. I watched the trailer for the movie and I still loved it. I am also the kind of person who wants to know what I'm getting into. definitely one of my favorite horror movies.

Having seen the original already I can honestly say I don’t want to see a remake or the original ever again lol

Not that the original was a bad film, far from it. It’s just incredibly disturbing and the ending upsets me greatly which is very much the point. And making a watered down Hollywooded version of it doesn’t really appeal to me

I saw Speak No Evil last night with my friend and we both loved it. It was one of the best tense thrillers I’ve seen in a while. James McAvoy was perfect as the charismatic psychopath. My friend and I were on the edge of our seats almost the whole time. 9/10 overall.

I have conflicting feelings because on the one hand it's James McAvoy playing a psychopath but on the one hand the Danish one messed with my head and I doubt this can recreate that experience

When it comes to the marking for this film, Jason Blum must’ve accidentally added an extra zero to the advertising budget when he wrote out the check. That’s the only reason I’ve been able to come up with after seeing both Speak No Evil trailers roughly seventy-five times in theaters over the last couple of months.

James needs more recognition in our era!!! He is a beast!! He killed this movie. 7/10 movie but his performance was a 10/10 especially when his son was about to hit him at the end

It definitely has my interest, but I’m already seeing The Concierge tomorrow, and DanDaDan First Encounter on Friday. I don’t think I’ll be watching this one in theaters but I’ll watch it when it hits streaming, along with the original.

I had never heard of this movie and i went to buy tickets for alien however it was all booked out. So we all went to watch this movie without knowing literally nothing. After seeing it i watched the trailer and it made it obvious what was gonna happen. I think its phenomenal movie and even better if u haven't seen the trailers
