I honestly had no idea where to put this, so excuse me for putting this here. Heck, if you see this description, it means its past the copyright checks that I didn't think it would get through but hey, whatever. :O

I decided, on a whim, to try and "restore" the leaked and unapproved, yet official alternate music video that Anton Corbijn shot for "Pride (In the Name of Love)". It was shot near a UK airport hours before U2 went to Japan, which explains the very scaled-down, limited nature of it but...I dunno, I weirdly dig this video so I thought I'd try and as best as possible upscale and tinker with it to a point where it'd resemble something far more presentable as the best source video on YouTube is 360p and quite muddy in colour and definition. Really, the best chance this video has is if the original film masters still existed as that explains the recent *REALLY* good restorations of film-shot 80's music videos into 4K (including the first video shot for this song, which THIS version was supposed to be a replacement for), but U2 and their marketing team really, really didn't dig this video in the end and the only reason we have video evidence of its existence at all is because it got leaked in the 80's and played on European music channels anyway so...I doubt it. But for now, hey! Here's my attempt at an unofficial restoration.

I used Topaz Video Enhance AI, with Handbrake to convert the upscaled video to 23fps (which is the more authentic "film" framerate) and DaVinci Resolve for lighting, minor colour tinkerings and overall editing/syncing. The version of the song used is the Radio Edit version from the "U218 Singles" compilation from 2006. If UMG decide to ban this video or be more aggressive against this upload, I'll delete this upload immediately. Enjoy for now, I guess!
