My husband had no idea this was a sustainable hotel when we booked it for our 1 year wedding anniversary!😆 I was SHOCKED upon our arrival. Great stay. worth it. Would you guys ever like to stay here?

Omg I've never seen a hotel like this before! This is so cool, it's nice that hotels (which seem to always be bad for the environment with plastic cups and overall wasteful disposal things) are starting to care about the earth too 🌍❤

I stayed in this hotel in nyc and a few differences in our stays:

- the do not disturb was a hanging paper card
- the timer is a good idea but the plank it’s on fell in our shower and smashed all over the tile and it took a while to clean all the shards up
- there were drinking stations on different floors but we had metal bottles not glasses

Our stay was a bit ago so I would understand they have probably relaxed a lot of the Covid restrictions now. Overall the hotel is very pretty but it sucks that the sustainability comes at such a $$$ price.

I was in the sustainable hospitality and tourism academy at my high school and we went to a sustainable hotel (it’s in Concord, California). There version of sustainability was turning off your A/C while you weren’t in the room. Using a sustainable dryer and washing machine that does the same work, but using less water and sustainable/ environmental friendly washing powder. Other stuff to, but I forgot cause it was in high school, but it was super cool to see little things that hotels do that use up a lot of unnecessary energy.

Yea recycled wood but I'd love to hear about sustainability and other things such as natural sunlight, ventilation, insulation were put in with the architecture not just accessiories.

Wow! Where is this hotel? I love it! All of it! Is it comparable in price to other hotels? It’s so relaxing & beautiful!

I wonder how much time they give housekeeping to clean. It is well known in the industry that glass cups are not sanitized properly most of the time in hotels, mostly because the cleaning staff doesn’t have the time. Hence why I only drink from my own water bottle or wrapped plastic cups while in hotels. Love the idea, I hope the staff gets the resources that they need to care for such a place properly.

Oh my this looks fantastic! I was just on holiday in a hotel and i was so troubled to see the wastefulness all around🤦🏽‍♀️ like bed sheet and towel replaced when not needed (and quite clearly indicaded that they didn't need changing) and the food😨 it was a buffet and you can imagine how much food was being wasted because people just filled up their plates to the brim and proceeded to leave half of it uneaten😱
