She also has a 1000 career assists. And is coming up on 1000 rebounds. Straight baller all around. Love watching it.

That's damn nice of Charles coming out to give his respects to Catlin . This man has it going on.

Good on Charles for pointing out there are other women who have not been recognized for their achievements in basketball. But also acknowledging what Caitlin is doing for women's basketball. Maybe now Lynette Woodard and Pearl Moore will be acknowledged by our present day journalists. More press for the NCAA!

Caitlin Clark could do for the WNBA what Bird and Magic did for the NBA..a whole new level of popularity

Why is it necessary to give a man credit for a woman's success? Curry is the reason for Caitlin's success? Caitlin is the reason for Caitlin's success!!.

I might start watching women's basketball specifically to watch Caitlin Clark.

Glad to hear CB acknowledge CC accomplishments but why talk about how long other people have been in NCAA? Is this the same unjustified argument that Cheryl Swoopes made saying it was hard to recognize the record because CC got an extra year due to COVID. She also said CC is 25 years old and averages approx 40 shots a game. For the record, CC played 4 years, turned 22 in January and averages 19.7 shots a game..
Did anyone make these arguments when Plum broke the record ?

In approximately 2 games (80 pts) Clark will have beat Woodard’s record also. As well, she’s less than 100 points away from overtaking the men’s record in the same division as hers. Give credit where it’s due.

Also dont forget Constance Goodbook who played for the Mass. Quakers who scored 4865 points in the Quaker league in 1869. The true scoring champ.

Caitlin is only 22 and not a Doctor yet. She has not even completed her 4th year
and broke the record for the NCAA women in the least time. Nobody mentioned that.
Who would have dreamed Caitlin would be treated like Tim Tebow ?

That record is for the NCAA, not something those other women played in. Plus, I never heard anyone throwing those claims out when Plum had the record.

Caitlin Clark is the biggest sure thing that the WNBA has ever had. Yet I have this feeling they are going to mess it up and try and put her in her place as a rookie. I have zero faith in the WNBA not fumbling the bag.

Woodard should be considered the current record holder for D1 women's basketball. Clark will pass her in 3-4 games... same with Pete's mark. Pearl Moore did not play in D1... she played in a lower division... same as NCAA DII or DIII
