In Episode 121 of Luv Subbin, we show you how I repack my Airstream RV's wheel bearings as part of our spring maintenance. If you decide to do this yourself, make sure you're comfortable with this level of maintenance and have researched multiple sources as a wheel bearing failure could cause serious damage up to and including death.

Great video showing how to do this task. It certainly is not for everyone, however, with the proper tools and knowledge, most can achieve this. Good value added video!

Super helpful! Thank you. We just picked up a 2002 Safari LS 25 footer. It was pretty well cared for however it has over 100k documented miles on it so I am doing all the regular maintenance on it now (plus I really enjoy this stuff).

Super.

Great video. We have a 2022 Bambi 20FB and ours is serviceable like yours. I believe Carvel and up are the never lube.

Very well done video. Thank you. I found it very informative with your wife asking questions about things most people take for granted

Someone should create a lint free cloth with a print of what order everything goes in. Kind of like those m16 rifle cloths issued at boot camp.

Nice job explaining the process. Honestly though I always hated doing wheel bearings. Was happy to learn my 2007 Classic had permanently lubed bearings. One thing I noticed that you might like, I use flexible plastic cutting boards under my tires when I park for prolonged times, like for the winter. A 4 pack of these are only a few dollars at Walmart or Amazon. They keep the bottom of the tires clean and isolate the tire rubber from the ground. A fellow Airstream owner told me about this a few years ago, and I have used them ever since.

Is it possible to upgrade to a Dexter's new nevRLube bearing.

Most important lesson, when during this, you will get grease everywhere! Mostly on your clothes, so don’t sit in your Airstream until you are completely clean, with fresh change of clothes.

Use of a led light when working under the trailer would be very helpful for viewers to see more clearly. Very meticulous effort...some viewing blocked or out of frame.

Good instructions——-but the lady should be quite——you add nothing to the task at hand and it is irritating
