You have not prove the assumption that when you added the powers of 10 the sum is a sequence of 111 ending by 0 so the response is right but the prove is wrong as Thomas commented

Right solution, but wrong prove.

To keep a long answer short:

Add 321 times 1. Then you get 10 + 100 + 1000 + ... + 1000...000 = N = 1, 111, …, 110 (322 digits)

N = 1, 111, …, 110 - 321 = 1, 111, ..., 110, 789 (322 digits)

Sumo Digits 318 * 1 + 0 + 7 + 8 + 9 = 342
