This is honestly one of my favorite scenes in anime.

The entire first season, nothing made me sad unlike clannad, then throughout refrain, the sad feelings just built up until this episode, and I felt like crying so badly. I finally shed a tear, my first tear which I never did even in Clannad and After Story, that is how emotional this episode hit me....

I love the visual/symbolism behind Riki hitting a walk-off homerun to signify how strong he is, and how far he's come. The entire baseball thing is literally just a way to track how he's growing.

It's 2017 and this is still one of the most beatiful and touching scene I've seen in anime

i just spent 5 hours trying to find *THIS* particular anime for this particular scene . I remember being a 10 year old in December of 2015 when i accidentally switched the tv channel to animax and this profound, gorgeously animated scene was talking place . I didn't know what this anime was or what the whole " anime and manga " medium was .. but i was drawn to the beauty and the summery as well as nostalgic feeling .. i just dont know how to explain .

Soo, from that day onwards, i would tune in the the channel everyday after coming back home and be in awe at the new medium i had discovered .
BUT somehow i forgot about the show and this scene completely .
fast forward to now and I find myself in a miserable state where i keep disassociating myself from the painful reality that i'm close to losing my mother because of her diseases and i havent made any progress in the last 3 years at all .
This burden on my head weighs me down along with a lot of other family issues associated with the same . I love her to no end and im scared of losing her .
My health is in wrecks, i'm addicted to degenerate pornography, i haven't studied for even a single day and my grades are in a steep descent despite me being a fast learner, i no longer can derive joy out of any of my old hobbies like drawing, soccer and watching anime
I know a lot of this is self afflicted and only i can get myself out of this dire miserable state by .. making efforts .. i guess i'm reluctant on moving forward because of the fear that everything up until now will become the " past " ; a not so fond one .
Watching this scene again will hopefully provide closure to my life because my " endless semester " began almost simultaneously after I first saw this scene . I hope tomorrow will be the day that I finally bid farewell to my past and stop being miserable .

After watching this scene over 5 times, I thought I could contain the feels, but that's not happening.The second Kyousuke turns around with tears flowing from his eyes I just lose it every time. ;_;

I am generally a Dubbed person but this in Japanese, really broke my heart. The emotions Kyosuke was emitting were unbelievable. Dubbed was also sad but lacked emotional stress and was too soft. Didn't feel that real and sad. But jeez I'm crying even after I've watched it in Dubbed. The Subbed made me cry even more!

I cried so hard in this episode. I've watched a lot of movies and animes with sad moments, and I only shed a tear. But this is the first time i've actually cried for real from watching something. Angel beats ending was a close second to me. But this one, it's like it touched my heart and grasps my emotions! The guy who created this did a good job connecting the characters emotions to the audience!
