Hey James. I grow a couple variety of hazelnuts and discovered I can pick them green (almost ripened) before the squirrels go after them. They ripen and pop out after picked in the greenhouse where they are safe from those clever squirrels. Best wishes to you. The apples and grapes look delicious. I want to try oranges.
