havent read Being Mortal, but I loved reading Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande, MD
I liked Gifted Hand by Ben Carson, MD too!
There's also this book "How to become a straight A student" by Cal Newport. It's more inclined to college life, but it helped me change my study techniques in med school. Great video! :)

I have been enjoying your videos. You have truly inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. I am a highschooler preparing for a neuroscience competition named Brain Bee. The questions from the competition are derived from lengthy neuroscience textbooks.
