Lots of donations of supplies. Let's see the distribution happening asap. I keep seeing news and videos of Lahaina survivors saying they don't have water, food, a place to stay, and supplies can't get in. Something is very wrong with that. Why are they not all in shelters?

Many officials should be held accountable- suspended, fired or arrested.

They shouldn't blame officials. Or early warning systems, because it was probably a spark from a power line near or in town, set off by high winds, that caused the fire with no time for warning. It shouldn't be too hard to investigate whether there was a miles-long path of the fire leading to Lahaina. If not, then it started in or near town. And no time for a warning.

During the Camp Fire aftermath they set up a place in the old Sears store where we could get all the services in one place. Driver’s license…SS card…filing for federal assistance etc. It made for an easier transaction. My heart and prayers go out to the people of Maui.

Please understand that this is just the beginning of your survival. It takes a least a year for insurance; (mind you that after this you will no longer have fire insurance on your home.) to settle with you. Survival myself of the TUBBS fire, I will be honest with you. This kinda trauma will change you whether you realize it or not. What fires did in Maui like the Tubbs fire, was wind driven, hot like lava and for whatever reason there’s randomness. There’s things that should have burned, that didn’t. It’s like a tornado; it is random. There’s a path, but it doesn’t make sense.
