The 1928-S and 1941-S Lincoln Cents have a Large and Small Mintmark. I show you the difference here.
For both dates the LARGE S is the rare variety.
Both dates come with RPMs for both varieties.

You can find my Lincoln Cent Die Variety Cheat Sheet on my blog:

Looking at my 41S right now, it's tough to make the determination..looks like the top of the small and bottom of the large....no doubling is obvious....errrr, well time for a tomato and basil planting break....

I know this is 6 years old but I found in my dad's coin collection that he left me that I have a 1941 small ass mint mark and I don't know how to get the value of it. There are random numbers at the bottom of the cardboard portion I'm just wondering if that's because it was certified or something.

Great info. Never realized there were large/small 1928 s. The one I have has some damage. Hard to tell if it is a large or small. Thanks
