I’ve seen Willemijn several times live in Wicked, including some of her later days in the West End and oh my god. Her riffs in Defying Gravity are mind-boggling in videos and absolutely brain-melting live (she did some of her special ones when i saw her too and holy shit!), it’s astounding how strong she was and how strong she still is over the years. Her fandom was at one point (don’t know anymore I’m not a part of it anymore) such a great place to be too

So glad I came across your video! A few weeks ago I went to see Come From Away in Amsterdam. This was the first time I was going to see Willemijn in a show and not in a single performance. When she walked on the stage I had to hold my tears. And then Mijn vlucht door de lucht (Me and the sky) came, I bawled my eyes out (wore waterproof mascara just in case and very glad I did!). She is insane! Her vocals and stage presence is so amazing. I have seen a. lot of musicals, but I have to say, this was my favorite. Not only because of Willemijn, but the entire cast is amazing and the musical is show stopping and tragic. 10/10 would recommend
