The Internet’s busiest pedal nerd Josh Scott joins Sweetwater’s Don Carr for an awesome look at Josh’s eclectic pedalboard. Curious about how many pedals are actually in the JHS Show space? Want to know how turning 40 has changed Josh’s pedal preferences? Josh shares more than just that: he also covers his pedalboard philosophy (spoiler: it’s simpler than you may think!) plus amp, pick, and pickup preferences, useful tips for gain stacking, and more. Check it out!

You always can trust a man who doesn’t only use his own companies pedals on his board

I would definitely be one of the twelve people to watch a video about guitar picks...as long as it's hosted by Josh Scott. He has the ability to make the most mundane topics interesting, and entertaining.

Josh Scott is the hero we deserve in these troubled times. He loves guitar pedals like we should all love each other.

Josh is a great pedal maker, great historian, and super funny. But I think people don’t talk about how good and versatile of a guitarist he is. He plays clean, dirty, and emulates all kinds of different styles. Sure he’s not one of the greatest of all time or a virtuoso shredder. But the man can play. He could be a solid guitarist in almost any cover band or most touring bands. That is wild.

It's hard to express how much good Josh has done for the guitar world. What a legend.

The reasons why this video is forcing me to shop for a JHSPedal:
The sense of humor of Gary Shandling.
The Pedal knowledge of a fun history professor.
The "matter of fact" common sense wisdom a big brother.
And his pedals sound amazing yet he loves everyone else's pedals too...

I want to work for this guy!!!

As always it's Josh's honesty and humour about guitar and pedal culture that keeps us watching, it's so addictive.

Could just watch Josh talk about his stuff for hours the jhs pedal channel is awesome. Defo a binge worthy place to be. Honest, funny, and someone who builds the whole industry out of love not simply his own brand to grow wealth.

The ageless Don Carr and the absolute best guitar pedal peddler in the history of guitar pedals! Great episode!

Josh is awesome, such a humble dude and puts so much attention and spotlight on other brands. I got into pedals through his channel and still think his channel is the best asset for learning about pedals and the history of brands and different styles of effects. Great video here! Morning Glory = desert island pedal for me

Very inspiring! 13 years ago I went to my local guitar shop and compared my true analogue Carbon Copy with all the available digital delays back in that day and the Flashback was the king. I bought the x4 version immediately when it came out and it's been on my studio since then, I use it daily. The perfect combo of nice/simple delays, 3 presets, tap tempo and a looper with simple functions. I literally use it in almost all my projects, including many experimental electronic music ones.
