This is cruelty to all of us. And the only comfort I find is by imagining that Ayoade these days is in a much happier place of heavily reduced social interaction.

I used to run a little decorating business and turned to hate it. I can't even bring myself to finish decorating the house I live in, let alone go and decorate someone else's.
These inventions are bloody marvellous. I wish we could all have these things at a sensible price and small enough to put in the cupboard under the stairs. I could revamp my house every year instead of 'This will do for 20 years, i'm not redecorating any sooner!'
