I used to run open modified blockzilla's using the Tillotson carbs and running methanol, we figured out after the race run about 8oz of unleaded gas ran through cleans out the resedue methanol leaves during the week. We were always proactive and getting prepared for the next race the day after we we finished the race.

Watch out for WD-40. Don't use it. It is not meant for aluminum engine parts of any kind. It causes big problems over time. WD-40 is a penetrating oil its an industrial strength penetrating oil. Your better off with a silicone spray or CRC or simple oil. WD can destroy motors and chains and bearings. It is meant to loosen rusted stuck on nuts and bolts and is abrasive if run in motors on chains and bearings, do not use. 5 to 20 weight oils are a better choice. This is from 30 years experience where I couldn't figure out why all above were failing all the time. I finally dropped WD and all the stuff had no more problems. WD is thee best when used for what is made for and, however, can't fault them there, reliable.

have you messure sprak plugs heads cap at what its optimal in that engine becauce back in day i use cap 0, 6mm in 100cc engine and its was optimal in that engine and i use 102 octain fuel
