Over the course of the history of #SonicTheHedgehog there have been many games, and because the series began in the 16-bit era, some of the lesser-known ones are those from the 8-bit games such as the Master System versions of the first two games and Spinball, Chaos, the Game Gear games such as Triple Trouble, the Drift games, Labyrinth, and that one time that SNK made a Sonic game for their own handheld. And since they're all small, and rather short games, there isn't much to talk about individually, but experiencing them all together, back-to-back creates a much fuller experience.

You missed a sin for Sonic Chaos’ final boss. Once it’s defeated, you have to follow Eggman to another screen lock, and then you have to hit him one last time as he shoots back and forth across the screen. And not only does he occasionally change altitudes to throw you off, he kills you INSTANTLY if you get hit! As if that wasn’t bad enough, you can’t even hit him immediately, you HAVE to dodge his swoops for a set amount of times and only THEN does he become vulnerable. How is he able to kill you in one hit anyway?! It’s JUST the Egg Mobile!!

37:00 - This one requires the manual again. Long story short, Eggman found a napping Sonic and tried to shoot him in his sleep. He missed and broke a Chaos Emerald that happened to be nearby, breaking it five ways and sending the fragments flying around the region. This commotion woke Sonic up and Eggman cut his losses in favor of getting the Emerald back together for his latest scheme. And Knuckles is just there because.

Something you forgot to mention in 8-bit Sonic 2 is that in the bad ending, Sonic is sunning alone in the credits and it ends with him looking into the sky at Tails. THAT MEAND THAT TAILS IS DEAD AND EGGMAN KILLED HIM!

Honestly I’m surprised there wasn’t a sin in sonic drift questioning why Amy’s car is alive. Personally my head canon explanation is that the car is a kind of reformed badbik, but that’s never been hinted towards and it’s just something I do to justify it.
