Seriously, I went through a bunch of ms word stopped working videos and none of them said this. I was about to start pulling my hair out in frustration and then tried this video, so easy even the box uncheck the "abby fine reader" was highlighted like the bluetooth example in this video.and it worked fine. For those who don't have "send to bluetooth", uncheck the "abby fine reader" and it would work just fine. :) :)

Thanks Bilal for posting this fix.
It fixed my problem, but I didn’t have the “Send to Bluetooth” option on my pc.
I had Abby Fine Reader in the Com Add-Ins, so I unchecked that & it worked.

I had this issue by the ABBYY plug in was the cause. I just unchecked that plug-in and it worked!! I felt so smart. My husband was in front of the computer forever trying to figure it out and I figured it out from your video in 2 min! Thanks.

My problem was the same as Gary Evans. I had never seen this abbey fine reader thing until recently. Once I unchecked that everything was back to normal. Thank you so so much for this video!

I contacted Microsoft to ask about fixing this problem. The technician did not mention your solution. Instead, he blamed me for the crashes, saying I was using an "old version" of Word (.doc) in compatibility mode instead of the newer 2013 (.docx) version. I didn't argue. I've been using the 2013 version of Word for a week now with no problems so far. I've got my fingers crossed.

Bilal, I absolutely despise computers and devices. I am certain that the end of days for all of us on earth will have something to do with computers and electronic technology. However, as I have no viable option except to involve myself with successfully using and understanding the technology, today I begin the journey of intelligent thought on this matter. I doubt you'll ever read this, but I must say thank you for your brilliant insight on fixing this problem.
