i think my favorite detail of the old s1k that nobody talks about is the little lip on the front, i think it just adds that last little detail to the bike and ties it in

Wow that was a lesson making sure everything is adjusted tightened and clean. Before diving head long onto rabbit hole. Good troubleshooting! Reflashing the cpu or some craziness. No Just loose screw!

Just a helpful FYI, you mixed up your generations of the S1000RR. The motorcycle you purchased in this video is not a gen 2, it is a gen 3 (2015-2018). The newer S1000RR that you call a "gen 3" is actually a gen 4. Super simple mistake, I use to call the 2015 bikes gen 2's as well.

Instantly you need to change the cam chain tensioner, that clicking noise on startup is the cct is loose or bad.
