"Sometimes you get a coordinator masquerading as a head coach." It's okay Josh, you can just say Brent Venables.

I haven't felt this good about the program since 2005 - 2009. Doesn't mean we will win a Natty (although I think we will over the next few years), but we will be contenders, every year, for several years. Hook 'Em!

Hammer meet nail. Josh and Joel are the only national voices that get who the Longhorns are. Well done JP!

Texas is the most dangerous most complete team... Ga can beat anyone or lose to anyone in the playoffs.. Texas held Ga to like 250 yards but field position was huge for Ga.. The SEC Championship game should be epic.. I do think Ga will shows up with at least a B team effort, not that D team like against Ga Tech and several other games this year..

Not a Texas fan at all, but I am excited to see this program's future.

Pete Kwiatkowski is also an excellent defensive coordinator.

I just want Sark to be in his ALL GAS NO BRAKES mode he was in the last game he coached at Alabama

I love that you mentioned Quinn doesnt NEED to put up monster numbers for texas to win! Texas fans have been nitpicking and whining all year about Quinn when he plays good with no turnovers just because they want some MONSTER performance from the QB. Texas has so many ways to win.

I think you summed it up perfectly. The problem for UT is Ewers IMHO. He's not a bad QB, he just needs to play better against the better teams.

If I was the Coach at A&M some guys would be doing win sprints on Monday. That Aggie that couldn’t hold Arch long enough for his teammates to help with the tackle, in my high school that guy runs around the track many times during practice!

I appreciate the kind words for Mike Elko. As an Aggie, my concern would be directed more towards Collin Klein… and also, the sense I get sometimes (watching from afar) that Elko is frustrated with the schemes and results that he is seeing on offense.I think I’m seeing friction there, and that concerns me more than the talent disparity I saw on the field on Saturday.

Josh sees things that others don't. B- from this offense and a one legged qb and the D will say "hold my beer, we got this"

Home of the 12 men on the field penalty

I’ve followed Texas football since 1977 and this is the type of Texas team I’ve always wished for and it appears to be built to last. Hook’em!

I won’t be sad when Ewers is gone. The guy has so much potential, but not performing on a consistent elite basis. I hope Manning bulks up in the offseason and becomes like Colt McCoy. Deadly accurate arm, fast feet, and very smart.

Scary thing is the Texas D will be better next year on the front 7. Muhammed, Williams are back on the secondary. Just need a couple more boys to become men and the Texas D is going to be just as stout next year. Were talking the original Guiness kind of stout here fellas.

Not a huge fan of either team, though I do pull for Texas now that my grandson is there. I really enjoyed the defensive play.

The A&M entrance was the most exciting part of the game
