Great review summing up the M5 stack. I have bought it as a birthday present for my partner and will be giving it to him next week on his birthday. He is a big fan of programming on the ESP32 as its a powerful bit of kit so I'm sure he's going to love this. Feel like the best girlfriend right now :P

Hey Ravi, excellent video review. Great work. I've been using the M5Stack for a while and agree - the M5Stack is indeed a very exciting development platform with many possibilities. And your transition to #AD was as smooth as Benares silk !

Your video has an excellent quality! Congratulations!

hey ravi can you please tell me the pinout of that game pad that you used in the DIY Custom PCB?
Thanks Cheers

I imagine the hum is due to not using bypass caps on all the ICs. It could be the routing of audio from the audio ic out to the connector wasn't optimal.

How good is this if I just want to program the ESP32 and not all the M5 objects. So can develop with this convenient package but then deploy to smaller ESP32 only boards that don't have the M5 components.

great...we can use it as vehicle tracker????

Was that transition into the #AD smooth or what?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, it looks great. I will be getting one of these for sure. Note that red flags come up when we try to follow the link to the JLPcb site. What's up?

hello nice video, it's wonderful what you can do with M5 Stack . i have to do for my school a conveyor belt with stepper motor and two sensors control, we have to do it with PLC Proto module (cut place), you have an idea how to connect them sensors to PLC module, or write the program. thank you

do these brownout when the 3.3V isn't super stable. I hope they added some regulator, a capacitor to make it less sensitive.

Yes, the speaker hum is really annoying. It seems to be coupled to the power regulation. Code that executes five times a second leads to five clicks a second from the speaker like a mechanical wrist watch. It’s a bit disappointing given the price...

how good are M5 stacks in low power consumption ?

A simple wheeled robot could be a cool project

The micro controller is $5. The Raspberry pi is $35 and is a full computer.
