Very nice! For years I've always just been my wife's sewing machine mechanic and never really learned how to make stuff. Then, when I retired a few years ago, I started making quilts for friends and family using vintage Treadle sewing machines. I just really enjoy the machinery. I’ve lost 40lbs and have 30lbs to go. I have some shirts I really want to continue to wear when I make my goal weight and this will help me do that! I also have to fit to my bust and hate the boxy look so this is perfect for helping me get the shape back without gaping buttons.

The shirt looks great! I think, though, that the long shoulder seam would bother me if I were wearing it; I'm just so used to the sleeve starting right at my shoulder. Taking the sleeve out, recutting the opening, and setting it back in again would be a lot more work.

If you put it on inside out, you can pin & sew it without too much marking up
