True is the sixteenth studio album by former Yes lead singer Jon Anderson. It is a collaboration with the Band Geeks that was released on 23 August 2024 by Frontiers Records

The first time I heard this (yesterday) I got quite emotional. The reminders of the first time I heard the likes of Close to the Edge and Awaken almost 50 years ago came flooding back and thoughts of ones own mortality started swirling about. For me this is a throwback to the happiest days of my life and for that I can only give my heartfelt thanks to Jon and the Geeks. An instant classic.

This is MAGNIFICENT. To me, it's like the extended era of Trevor Rabin-style YES music, moving forward into 2025. Jon's voice is STILL one of THE best voices in rock music of all time. Jon, Richie and the Geeks have done phenomenal work to create this epic piece of music, fashioned like the early days, into movements, much like a classical piece. This is by far the best track on this album. The trademark of the best of JA's melodic skill, the emotionally of the middle section, it is all just brilliance, and what The Steve Howe band shamelessly cashing in on the YES name could never ever reach. The Geeks - with Jon - is a wonderful combination.

My favorite song on the new album too (and they're all great)! Please play these songs in concert on your 2025 tour, Jon! I used to love seeing YES in the 1970s because they always played their new songs, regardless if we knew them or not. This song has the power of Awaken, "awaken, gentle mass, touch!" Sure, Heart of the Sunrise is great, but after a hundred thousand listens, I want to HEAR THE NEW SONGS! I bet everyone else does too. Your best album ever (and they're all divine). Jon Anderson is an angel sent from heaven to awaken us gentle masses! YES!
