En sus inicios fue propiedad de COX Communications y Empresas 1BC (dueños de RCTV de Venezuela) y TV Azteca de México desde 1993, llamándose entonces GEMS Televisión y enfocada al público femenino, pero Telemundo adquirió la cadena en mayo de 2000, y la programación se empezó a combinar con los idiomas de español e inglés (antes sólo se hablaba español), y la cadena cambió a su nombre actual.

I love Jenni Rivera 🤍
The first time ever watching I love Jenni I’m like who is this person? She’s amazing. I loved everything about her, and when she passed away my heart broke. Same year as Whitney Houston who I adore. I can’t even go to watch the Riveras because I became so invested with this family. It breaks my heart that they have had to go through losing their mom. Jenni loved her children and I know she’s looking over them and truly proud. Chiquis she’s proud of you! I have been watching re-runs of I love Jenni because I am not ready to watch life without her.
