"In Trance" (the album) might be the saddest/ most melancholic record ever written..especially those 4 songs (In Trance, Life like a River, Living and dying, Evening Wind)..Just sit in a dark room with a glass of whisky or rhum then sail away. Such a sombre dark crying album. Uli' s chord/ note choices is the perfect compliment for Klaus' magnificent vocals.

"Dont be afraid of getting old life is full of joy"...what a wonderful line... i was just highschool during the 90s and never really internalized the lyrics just mere sound tripping. Now im at my 40s seems that this song inspires me to continue to do best in what endeavor that im in to. Scorpions is one of my rock influence that got me into a band when i was younger. Tnx for inspiring me!

I love both eras of SCORPIONS, i.e., Uli ROTH Years '73-'78 and Matthias JABS Years '79-Present. Unique and talented group of musicians. No poseurs or wannabes in SCORPIONS.
