the dual worm gear drive in that thing makes it a pretty serious beast.
some worm driven crawlers are super capable too, there's no need for motor braking trying to hold a position, plenty of torque to *creep* VERY slowly up rough steep stuff..
HEY WPL, make a worm drive for C14/24, B1/B36 etc etc!
I'd want 6 of them with a 180 motor for power, max speed 3 mph. it'd require a pair of bevel gears in the mix to keep it compact, and to turn the power delivery axis 90 degrees.
this would be more an "adult option", for just crawling and climbing. for trail running and some crawling+climbing, I'm happy using MN's 260 gearbox with a 280 swapped in, but it can roll back down a steep incline sometimes if no power is applied.
