Hi, Shannon. That was a nice reading week, especially that you got in some Canadian poetry. I have all of my December reading planned and added to Goodreads for the 'Cloak and Dagger Christmas' and 'Create Your Own Holiday Adventure' readathons. This week, I finished 'Beast: Face to Face with the Florida Bigfoot by Watt Key (for Creature Feature Extravanza/cryptid), 'Black Sun' the first book in the 'Between Earth and Sky' series by Rebecca Roanhorse (for Fall into Reading and the November Indigathon), and for Non-fiction November, 'Normal Doesn't Live Here Anymore: An Inspiring Story of Hope for Caregivers' by Barb Owen (of BookTube's How to Get Creative).

Reading books this weekend, as usual, those that are immediately due back at the library: 'Tall Tail' a Sneaky Pie Brown mystery by Rita Mae Brown and 'Heirs and Graces' a Her Royal Spyness mystery by Rhys Bowen. Have a great weekend, Shannon!

I would recommend trying a poetry audiobook. They are short so easier to follow and gives it a new dimension. I’m glad you’re feeling better, luckily reading is a cozy pastime this time of year. Warlord of Mars reminds me of when I tried to read the first James Bond novel. I just wanted the action, but then some of the things he said made me uncomfortable and kind of ruined it.Anyways, can’t wait to see what you’ve up your sleeve 😆
