How to get cheap land
1 find county you can call home
2 call county ask about their taxes and building codes you want cheap tax and only codes for the power pole and septic will save you folks to get in county’s like this . 3. For tax seized list here in Texas most are handled by a couple law firms who will gladly email you list for free
4. Look at resale list as that could be your savings. why ? Because those properties have been on books long time passed over by investors as they want quick fix to flip not seeking build ground up.
Always walk the property so you truely know what your getting .
5. Resale also means they don’t decide what bid starts with and you don’t have to stand at county steps to partake in bid war you just make a offer 9 times out of 10 they will accept or they can counter offer but that’s rare
Once accepted you will get deed mailed to you . It’s that simple folks

If you choose to do shed or cabin these rent to own people are being grossly taken advantage of look at your contract crunch the numbers I did it’s shocked and dismayed me how they bend you over with finance rates up to and possibly more than 100% save your money go to bank with 20% you have land free and clear you have cabin or what ever my kids got a shell cabin repo for 20k they had 4865.00 to put down instead of 60 months they got bank promissory note for 48 instead of 628.00 month they got 500.00 no monthly bs sales tax of 45.00 look at your contract don’t sign take to bank and let them look at it bet they can beat it hands down. I just bought 117 acres in Virginia for less than a grand an acre. I’m within walking distance of the grocery store. I’m less than 10 miles from all the big box stores and gas is currently $2.84/gallon across the Tennessee border. I’m living off grid in my campervan.

Im in texas, property taxes are too high and land prices are averaging about 15k per acre thanks to cali transplants. Im looking at leaving my own home state to go off grid.

I always like these type of videos. I have to disagree though. Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee have a bad demagraphics, Missouri is getting up there and a lot o texas as well. Only viable option of those 5 for me would be texas, probably south texas or east texas.
