I think the drop to the G# isn't right. The chord doesn't quite fit. Maybe I'm wrong, no offense.

Edit: I just checked onmy guitar. So you start with an A major (A E C#). Instead of dropping the A to a G# you can leave out the C# and play a B instead giving you that resolving sound with the Asus2. Then continue with a C# minor (C# E G#).
