Dr. Ola, we can build 36 standard hospitals. Arrest Tinubu, Obasanjo, Kola Aluko and Diezani, those four people will cough out $36B easily. Remember $20 Billion is still missing and we expect Diezani, Jide Omokore, and kola Aluko to come and explain its whereabouts.

This Doctor is so smart and patriotic. I wish our leaders can just give someone passionate like this a chance to transform our healthcare sector. I think we need more of Cuba system in Nigeria. Cuba is not a wealthy nation but their life expectancy is 80, more than the Almighty United States. As Dr. Ola said, we can have a few gigantic hospitals supported by air ambulances. But, we also need to build several small clinics that handle basic healthcare and invest a lot in preventive medicine. We can also take advantage of Telemedicine by asking Nigerian Doctors in the diaspora to volunteer. We have about 80k of them in the diaspora. Imagine if we can convince 20k to give back 5hours/week to their father's land without stepping out of their comfort zone. That's whooping 100k hours. That's 130hrs/LGA. That's like having 3 experienced full-time Doctors in every LGA coordinating with the ones on the ground. Easy-peasy. Some of these Doctors want to contribute to their father's land but they can't return now to a place where their lives are not safe and moreover we can't match their salaries to earn their homecoming.
Maybe I'm the mad guy, are these things truly difficult as our leaders always depict?

This dude keeps citing Dr. Sheta(sp). Is Dr. Sheta the Indian Government? If a PRIVATE individual can do it in India, why not in Nigeria?! Nigerians sit around waiting on government to do everything for them and to “share” oil money. SMH

This is a joke. Those funds will disappear. Nobody wants to do business in Nigeria. Can't even build hospitals.
