As the son of a Latvian I truly despise the Russian military and government . Cruelty at every opportunity is the only choice they prefer to make. At the end of World War II my father chose to surrender to the Americans because he knew the Russians would just horribly mistreat them and starve them.

China has also recently stopped shipping a critical industrial polymer, it's reported, they were the last supplier. There's one Russian company, Sibur, that started preliminary research for it's production in 2020 but my guess is, that's gonna take years still to get operational. Intresting to see how that plays out and at what timeframe.

No one seems to want to talk about WHY Ukraine is so successful moving into Russia and attacking airports, rail lines and fuel places. MOre and better drones than the Russians have. This is so apparent. And perhaps they are better at jamming and such as well, not sure about that. But if one can knock out tanks and such with cheap drones, that negates any Russian advantage in that sphere. Good tactacts, and the fact that Russia is using essentially untrained soldiers to defend Russia is making things much easier. That is my read on the fog of war on YT.
