Do not use your plastic scraper for this!! It will scratch your FEP. Use a squiji or a silicone spatula

I left my resin printer full of resin in my storage unit for two months. Then I plugged it in, mixed the resin in the tray and had a perfect print.

This is legit what I do, I only take the resin out when I get a fail, other wise it stays in the vat longest I’ve went was 2months, no issues

Mixing resin left in the vat also helps introduce air to the fep which aids in it's release of the cured parts

Just remembered I’ve got resin in my vat for about a month now 😮

I’m not going to lie… already knew about the resin. I had no idea about the squeegee 😂

I had heard the warning that the resin is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the air, causing parts to become more brittle.

I'm fairly new to printing and have been leaving mine in the vat because I'm afraid to break the FEP.

Yes, i do it, but i recomend put in the bottle , dont be lazy ...like me😅

that's completely unnecessary. just move the build plate up and down in the resin to mix it. you can set your slicer software to add custom gcode to all your prints to do it automatically.

does it matter if i will paint it anyway? like do you just mix the color? or does something else happen?

Can't you run into issues with cured bits sticking to the FEP? Which would add pressure to the lcd when it goes back down to the bed potentially causing damage to a more expensive part? I may be wrong, this is just my understanding please correct me if I am

Can you add resin while it’s printing if you’re running low?
