Book Formatting Information for New Authors!

Book formatting doesn't have to be difficult or overwhelming! In this video, I will compare hiring book formatting versus doing it yourself. I've also included a tutorial on how to use Vellum to format both your ebooks and your paperbacks. Plus, I show you some awesome custom formatting I had hired out. You’re literally a god send!! I never clicked on a video so fast! The more things I learn I have to do the more discouraged I get about actually publishing one day. Do you write your first draft manuscript with all those spacing between the short paragraphs and during active dialogues? Or do you just write it all in one long page and then go back and break them down? I hope my question makes sense… I wasn’t exactly sure how to ask what I’m trying to ask😅 I would love a detailed video about how to write a manuscript and how the first draft looks like in comparison to your final draft before you go to format it.

Just finished watching, this video was VERY helpful! I did have a question about the copyright section, how do you know exactly what to write down? Do you just find a generic copy write page and switch some of the names around?

Thank you for this! Each video you upload helps. Do you add images upurself for the break in chapters? Like the rat in Hood River. Or do you just add extra spaces in the manuscript? Do you go through a publisher?
