Great job with the power supply cord behind the rack... Pro work.

Very clean. I would gave used shorter jumper cables but you made it look clean with the wire manager. I have the same NVR, lol
shawnphillips
Brilliant! Color coded so you can easily know what cable goes where. Plus in case of failure easy to trace.

I know it is an old video. But what about the cables still coiled up on the floor? Also punched between cabinet and wall. Best mounting is into studs not dry
wall anchors.

What is the brand and model number of the data cabinet you used? Did you purchase it from Amazon?
cathyleishman
Nice video - what size is this cabinet? Is it 9U?

What is the purpose of the device on your chin?

Can't say as I've ever built a network but A)Why not just use shorter patch cords and skip the need for cable management. Put the switch right under the patch panel and use 2-3 inch patch cord. B)Are patch cords packaged only individually? Frustrating and wasteful. I would have thought they'd be sold in packages of 1, 8, 16, 24

Аre you an electrician?
Why these spaces?
It is necessary to place the equipment tightly.
Thus, one month will be enough for a device with uninterrupted power supply.
The cable must be laid in "pigtails"...
Colored patch cords will not help when the work is done poorly. Of course, in the case when the customer knows how this work should look.
