I learned to budget when money was tight! Being able to have a fully stocked pantry, 2 refrigerators, and freezer. We do not wait until we are completely out of food to go grocery shopping. Every two weeks we fill in the items that we have ran out of and with the overflow we buy additional of what we currently have. This keeps a steady flow of our pantry being full, money being saved and , the food being consumed. It's a system!
