SpaceX launch of a batch of Starlink v2-mini satellites for their second generation high-speed low earth orbit internet satellite constellation. It will include a mix of 8 normal v2-mini and 13 Direct-to-Cell equipped satellites.

Launch location: Space Launch Complex 40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Earth.
Target orbit: Low Earth Orbit (LEO); 286 by 296 kilometer 53.16 degree orbit
Booster: B1067-21; 66d 9h 34min turnaround

@dwisecinema the slow motion is just awesome. This time it really brought out the colors in the vapor cones. You sure don’t see them as much at regular speed lol. Please keep ‘em coming!

Great stream everyone!!! Sorry I missed it live. Will see if I can get my lazy arse out of bed Sunday morning. Of course I’ll certainly still be up for the Vandy launch which Next Spaceflight just politely informed me is 24 hrs away lol!

Nothing makes you realize the difference between the speeds of light and sound better than a rocket launch - you see the rocket lift off, then for the sound to FINALLY hit the microphones lol

Nice vapor cone when it went pre supersonic, edit also I was watching and the entry burn slew down the booster by about 2300 kph, almost a whole mach 2
