Nick wears a Clash shirt during some of their shows. Just like he does with his Zepp shirt...Completely makes sense they covered this song and it's absolutely an amazing cover.  I hope to hear it live one day, was really hoping they played it on the last 311 cruise to Jamaica.  Would have been a nice fit.   #311Nation

Nick Hexum of 311 is a huge, huge fan of the Clash. Joe Strummer is his personal hero. Joe Strummer was actually a big fan of 311. They did a collaboration on South Park: Chef Aid.
