How to memorize your guitar fretboard: navigating the guitar fretboard for beginners!

In today's lesson, we're going to learn how to navigate the fretboard and learn on the notes on the guitar. To simply "memorize" the notes is pointless - I'm also going to show you a simple exercise so you can start "internalizing" the notes and instinctively be able to find them instantly. Find the guitar notes and memorizing the fretboard are essential skills to have for any beginner, late beginner, intermediate or beyond!

Great video, but what is recommended for memorizing remaining top 4 strings? The song approach will be covered with E and A string if I'm not mistaken
