Can you build a full size bathroom and shower inside a 27 foot pocket trawler? This episode I discuss the plan for the new head (bathroom) on my Albin 27 Family Cruiser. The new head will be 20 sqr ft and have a stand alone shower!

Welcome to my boat building channel! This is my trawler restoration of an Albin 27 pocket trawler. Every couple of weeks I post a boat building or boat repair video to document various boat projects, sailboat restorations, or boat repairs. And when all else fails, I tell stories of boat motivation.

Great insight into major issue aheadl (no pun intended). Here is a free idea so you know what it is worth. Try removable chrome tiles? They could be placed in sections so as to have the option to be power wished on the dock rhen just snaped back into place. How about those (Detroit LIONS). Great Video.

I really love how you present your projects. Gel coat versus Paint? I agree with you. KISS System.

Our 1975 Ed Monk Roughwater 35 is not a pocket trawler, but it is on the smaller side(see the one vid on my channel for an idea).
Very livable space, with the exception of the very cramped wet head.
You have totally inspired me to expand our 8 square foot head to 16 square feet - for a separated shower space.
It’s going to pinch the dinette/sitee area a bit but we’re willing to sacrifice some seating inside for the livability of a real shower.
We will be living aboard on it for at least a year on the great loop, anchoring a lot, so yep, need the shower!

I had a Hunter 37 years ago with a (almost ) dry head, when at anchor fresh water capacity became an issue. Subconsciously people seemed to use more water showering with a more comfortable dry head. How much water tankage will you plan?
