Variant Editor Basics (Requested)
- Create a basic unit variant mesh using assembly kit variant editor.

I did this tutorial due to a request. If you have questions or would like a tutorial on something Ive not done or dont plan to do, post in the comment section and I will add it to the list of tutorials to make.

thank you for your video. But i wonder how to import created units made by another mods, and modify its armor. It seems that the variant editor only is only connected to vanila and loads its units, and there is no menu to select the direction of the unit data. Do you know how to modify units from another mod?

Say i just wanted to change the appearance of an existing model. how do i overwrite that file for the new one so itll show in game?

what should i do to change a vanilla unit skin and models ? just that, change an existing vanilla unit, not its stats or cards or description etc just skin and models with the same assets the game provides ?

I know this is super late but im trying to figure out how to get the attach points options for helmets in the editor, its not showing up when i load a new definition and i want to fix the thracian helmet in the base game that incorrectly does not have a crest

Hey. I have been trying to use the T Weak Editor For Rome 2 and for some reason there are models missing textures, have weird textures, or the models don't even exist to began with.

i've created an infantry that uses a bow and in pfm i chose a swordsmen animation. however when i go into game, they have an spearman's stance animation and their swords are sheathed and when they want to use the bow, they use the javelin throwing animations... i don't know what i've done wrong ?!

i dont know if you still use it, but after all those updates seems like everything i do the armor and the extra weapon i put have serious graphic glinthes on game play.

hey magnar when ever i open tweak.assembley.kit and then it load and when i press varient editor it freezes and says the page is not responding

Im doing everything the same way, but still the units ingame don't load, its just the normal WHY?
