The security guard is saying " they are stubborn and dont want to listen" which makes me think they already had warned them or atleast people around them. She had to have known what was going on.

Wow, I don't know what's worse, the fact she walked across there in the first place or the fact that no one stopped her. I feel bad for her, but not as entirely as I would if she wasn't attempting to cross and actually using common sense. Hope she's better at least.

Its still the responsibility of the people tasked to protect the racers and the spectators and other passersby. They should have at least made a tape cordone or like the steel railing like the one on the other end. Old people are also stubborn if they already knew it was not allowed to cross but it could also be that they were just passing by and did not know.

My father died from injuries from this kind of incident but crossing the road in London! I hope she's alright! Nothing you could have done though, marshal's seem to be pretty backwards at the urban dh races, so stupid, unbelievable!

Security should've put warning tape or something, because people are generally stupid enough to cross when a FUCKING RACE IS TAKING PLACE. The woman should've looked out for herself too. Always look left & right, taught by sensible parents & remembered by sensible kids. Having said that, she took quite a knock, & being an elderly person, would've done more damage to her frame. I hope she's okay.
