That can't be an RO water. It must be water from a simple tap;someone who's used to bottled water (or purified )cannot digest it.
It's not wise to drink water from the street tap or from small hotels;we (many Indians) always prefer bottled water in such cases. There are few Indians, who don't have a choice financially, go for tap water...and their stomach is used to it like anyone's was till half a century ago when there was no purified water available anywhere in the world.
