Midjourney 5.2 | New feature! Upscaling 2x and 4x | Is it any good?

Taking a look at Midjourney's newest upscaling features for version 5. Checking out different aspect ratios and styles for images. Which works, which needs some more work and what are my observations.

Great content. Keep it coming. I’ve found the workaround for the .webp files is to add your preferred image file type into your save name during save as (ie .jpg or .png), or, open and re-save with your preferred file type once downloaded as .webp.

Super vidéo ! C'est impressionnant de voir comment l'upscaler s'adapte selon le style d'image. Je partage ton sentiment concernant l'upscaling des images au style "jeu vidéo" - certains détails semblent se perdre un peu.
Mais pour les images photoréalistes, c'est juste bluffant !

Petite remarque : ces anomalies noires que tu as mentionnées, je les ai aussi remarquées par le passé. Espérons qu'elles seront résolues rapidement. Continue comme ça, j'ai hâte de voir tes prochaines vidéos ! 👍🎨🔍

It's good but slow. It also can't upscale ALL old files but it's unclear why it won't do some.
