Stalker 2 all detector locations and best one to use early!

This Stalker 2 tips and tricks guide will show you how to get all detectors in Stalker 2. There are 4 detectors: Echo Detector location, Hilka Detector location, Bear Detector Location, Veles Detector Location. Each detector has its own strengths and weaknesses. The best Detector to use in Stalker 2 early is a combination of the Hilka Detector and Velas Detector. Detectors can be used to avoid anomalies and find and farm artifacts which randomly spawn so you can get the best artifacts with radiation resistance and physical resistance.

i carry the hilka and the bear. not worried about the 1kg. use the hilka to get within 50m then pinpoint with the bear. it couldnt get any easier. just sucks when there underground and your above ground lol

Hilka got 100M, The fancy lategame one with the exact position on the screen has around 60ish meters with is 10meters more than the 2 last once not mentioned and way more presice. I would just go for the last one that can pinpoint as u learn pretty fast where the anomalies that ave artifacts are.

With Echo detector, you are more likely to find Jimmy Hoffa's body before you find a noteworthy artifact.

You can find the hilka at chemical plant. As soon as you come out of the sewers, warehouse on your left. It’s sitting right on a shelf

All detectors can find all artifacts, which is good. Cause in the older games you had to have specific detectors to find better artifacts. The hilka is basically just the echo with a 100 meter range, which yeah it's good to carry a second one and I've been doing that since launch. A bear and hilka is a powerful combo.

I walk around with the Hilka equipped because of its range, once I get 50meters close I’ll swap it for the Veles to show me the exact spot of the artifact 👍🏽

artifacts make a distinctive sound when you are nearby, even if they are still invisible, that makes it easy to pinpoint them

Weles is the best. You dont need big range of detection. Almost 99% of artifacts are located in group of anomaly.

The reason people say the Veles is the best detector is because in the trilogy the artifacts you could find depended on which detector you used, they were tiered and Veles was the highest tier detector. Which doesn't seem to be the case in S2, which is nice I guess but I feel like there should be some differences in the way they function instead of just display. I've been using the bear detector for ages and found some of the best artifacts in the game, JUST got the Veles (I didn't do the quest yet, I guess I picked it up without realizing) and tbh I'd prefer the Bear just because of it's display, although if I recall correctly the Veles here is the Svarog from CoP, idk if the Veles originally showed anomalies or not.

Use the Kilka Bear Combo. Bear is for homing in, Hilka is for figuring out the general area it is in.

Coming from Call of Pripyat, I'm so glad they made the artifact marker on the Veles red. It was green on the Svarog in CoP, and it was ridiculously hard to track.
