She's probably got one of the best lives you could ask for, such a famous and rich family, perfect body/face (best features from both sides of the gene pool), any and every connection you could ask for in the industry, a personal relationship with every top designer, on a tv show for a decade, more followers than nearly anyone else on every social media platform, her own app, and all of that before her 20th birthday lol.

It's true that Kendall's family probably had some influence on her getting into the business, but designers are picking her because she's a pretty girl and has millions of followers on social media. And a good percentage of the models that are famous come from famous families so don't act like Kendall is the first. Hailey Baldwin, Hadid sisters, Francesca Eastwood, David Beckham's kids, Pearl Lowe ect. The list goes on. Good looking famous people produce good looking children so naturally they follow in their footsteps. To me it's no different than the child of a doctor, lawyer, or athlete following in their parents footsteps.

Kendall grew up in front of a camera. Because of her famous family, she has always been on-screen and posing and doing shoots for big names, and started modeling at an agency when she was 13. That is a huge amount of experience for someone who wants to be a model.
Also, Kendall is very well known. People will see her on the runway, or the face of a makeup brand, and want to buy that product. What company or designer doesn't want that?
And without a doubt, she's beautiful with and without makeup, has naturally long legs and a thin body, and shes poised and professional.
She's fully cut out and eligible to be a model. There should be no confusion.

I m sure she is very hardworking. she seems to take it seriously. But honestly due to privilege she didnt have to work hard at all to get to where she is today. Brands want to work with famous people, and Chanel is no different. I have nothing against Kendall, but Chanel is a brand I ve loved since i was pretty young, and I always held it on a pedestal and considered it as the epitome of "classic"

But by promoting and making people like Kendall, Gigi and Kristen Stewart; the face of the brand, in my eyes, Chanel has lost its authenticity, and elegance. Not to mention that the quality of their bags have gone down considerably as well.

Seems like a decent enough girl but I think it would be really interesting to see a video of the day in the life of a runway model that doesn't happen to be celebrity or a teen heartthrob . I imagine there is a big difference between how they are treated and how she is treated backstage. Not that any of that is her fault but it would be interesting to see the differences between the two. Like for instance I highly doubt the rest of the models are staying at that glamorous hotel or being greeted by a man holding an umbrella to escort her to the show.
